Frequently asked questions

What can I add to Loca Learn?

You can choose videos from Photos, import supported video or audio from Files, transfer supported lessons from the Mac app, or use an authorized direct HTTPS media URL or compatible HLS playlist.

Why was my link rejected?

Loca Learn accepts direct media-file URLs and compatible HLS playlists. A social-media post, video webpage, streaming-service page, sign-in page, or other HTML webpage is not a direct media file and will be rejected.

Why are some quality choices unavailable?

Quality choices are shown only when the authorized source provides multiple compatible HLS variants. A direct MP4, audio file, or single-quality stream has only its original source quality. Loca Learn cannot create a resolution that the source does not provide.

Which formats are supported?

Supported formats include MP4, MOV, M4V, M4A, MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF, and CAF. Playback compatibility can also depend on the audio and video codecs used inside a file.

Does Loca Learn include cloud storage?

No. Loca Learn does not operate a media-storage cloud or require a Loca Learn account. Your library is stored on your device.

Mac Transfer troubleshooting

  1. Open Loca Learn on both your Mac and iPhone or iPad.
  2. Connect both devices to the same trusted local Wi-Fi network.
  3. Allow Local Network access when iOS requests it.
  4. On iPhone or iPad, open Add Content → Mac Transfer and select Find My Mac.
  5. Keep both apps open while sending the lesson.

Guest Wi-Fi, client-isolation settings, some VPNs, firewalls, and managed networks can prevent devices from discovering each other. Try a normal private Wi-Fi network and temporarily disconnect a VPN if discovery fails.

Import and playback troubleshooting

  • Confirm the file extension and its internal codecs are supported.
  • Confirm your device has sufficient free storage.
  • For a direct link, use HTTPS and verify that it opens the media itself rather than a webpage.
  • For Photos or Files, choose the item again and allow the selection to finish copying.
  • If playback has no audio or video, try exporting the source as a standard H.264/AAC MP4.

Loca Learn Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: July 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Loca Learn for iPhone, iPad, and Mac handles information. Loca Learn is developed by Sukhesh Chandra Sekharan (referred to as “the developer,” “we,” or “us”).

Privacy summary: Loca Learn does not require an account, contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDK, and does not operate a server that receives your lesson library or study activity. Your learning data is processed and stored on your devices.

1. Information stored on your device

Depending on the features you use, Loca Learn may store the following information locally:

  • Video, audio, subtitle, and transcript files you choose to add.
  • Lesson titles, course names, categories, bookmarks, and study notes.
  • Playback position, watched status, study time, goals, and learning streaks.
  • App settings, storage preferences, and reminder preferences.

This information is used to provide the app’s library, playback, organization, and study features. It is not transmitted to or stored on developer-operated servers.

2. Photos and Files

When you choose to import content, Apple’s Photos picker or Files picker lets you select a specific item. Loca Learn accesses the item you select and copies it into the app’s local storage. The developer does not receive the selected file. Only import material you own or are authorized to use.

3. Authorized direct media links

When you provide an authorized HTTPS media URL or compatible HLS playlist, your device connects directly to the host you selected to inspect or retrieve that content. The host may receive information normally included in an internet request, such as your IP address and technical request details. HLS playlists may reference additional media hosts.

Those hosts are independent third parties, and their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies. Loca Learn does not proxy these requests through a developer-operated server. Social-media post pages, streaming-service pages, and ordinary webpages are not supported download sources.

4. Local Mac transfer

If you use Mac Transfer, Loca Learn uses local-network discovery to find the Mac app and transfer the lesson directly between your devices. The transfer is not routed through a developer-operated cloud service. The app may temporarily process transfer metadata such as the filename, file size, course name, and transfer status to complete the transfer.

Use Mac Transfer on a trusted local network. A SHA-256 checksum is used to detect transfer corruption; it is an integrity check and is not a substitute for network encryption.

5. Notifications

Daily study reminders are optional. If you enable them, your reminder time and enabled status are stored locally, and the notification is scheduled by the operating system on your device. Loca Learn does not use a developer-operated push-notification server.

6. Data collection, analytics, advertising, and tracking

Loca Learn does not include advertising, a third-party analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking. The developer does not collect your app-usage history, lesson library, media, notes, or study activity from the app and does not sell personal information.

Apple may independently process information when you download, purchase, update, or review an app through the App Store. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

7. Support communications

If you voluntarily email support, the developer receives your email address and any information you choose to include. This information is used only to respond to your request, investigate the issue, maintain necessary support records, and comply with applicable law. Do not send private media files, sensitive links, passwords, or information that is not needed for support.

8. Retention and deletion

Your local app information remains on the device until you delete individual items, clear applicable app data, or delete Loca Learn. Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data from that device, subject to operating-system behavior and any device backups you control.

Voluntary support emails may be retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot recurring issues, maintain appropriate records, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of a support conversation by emailing the address below, subject to any legal retention requirement.

9. Children’s privacy

Loca Learn is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app does not require a user account, and locally processed lesson and study information is not sent to the developer. A parent, guardian, or school should supervise the content a child imports and any optional communication with support.

10. Security

Loca Learn minimizes data handling by keeping its learning library on your devices and using Apple’s application sandbox and system file-selection interfaces. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so keep devices protected, use trusted networks, and import content only from sources you trust.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app’s features, legal requirements, or data practices change. The “last updated” date above will identify the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page and in App Store privacy disclosures when required.

12. Contact

For privacy questions, support requests, or deletion requests relating to support correspondence, contact:

Sukhesh Chandra
Email: support@onilne247now.com

This policy is provided as a practical description of Loca Learn’s current data handling. The developer should review it for any additional requirements that apply in the countries or regions where the app and website are offered.
