Privacy Policy for MendLife

MendLife is designed as a private, local-first habit tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information MendLife may access, how it is used, and what choices you have.

1. Information You Create in the App

MendLife lets you create habit names, anchor cues, schedules, priorities, colors, notes, completion history, skip safeguards, and related habit progress.

This habit data is stored on your device. MendLife does not require an account and does not send your habit data to a server operated by Sukhesh Chandra Sekharan.

2. Apple Health

MendLife can optionally connect to Apple Health if you choose to grant permission.

Depending on the habit automation you enable, MendLife may request permission to read health-related data such as:
– Step count
– Walking and running distance
– Sleep analysis
– Mindfulness minutes

MendLife uses this information only to help log or display habit progress inside the app.

MendLife does not sell Apple Health data. MendLife does not use Apple Health data for advertising. MendLife does not share Apple Health data with third-party advertising networks.

You can manage or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.

3. Notifications

If you enable reminders, MendLife may schedule local notifications on your device. Notification content is used only to remind you about your habits.

4. Widgets

MendLife widgets may display habit progress and summary information on your device. Widget data is stored locally using Apple’s app group storage.

5. Advertising

MendLife may show ads using Google AdMob.

Google Mobile Ads and related SDKs may collect information such as device identifiers, advertising data, IP address, app interactions, crash logs, and performance data to provide, measure, and improve ads.

Where required, MendLife may ask for consent before showing personalized ads. You can manage privacy choices through system settings or any consent options shown in the app.

You can remove ads by purchasing the Remove Ads in-app purchase.

6. In-App Purchases

MendLife offers an optional Remove Ads purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. MendLife does not receive or store your payment card details.

7. Data Sharing

MendLife does not sell your personal habit data.

Some data may be processed by third-party services included in the app, such as Google AdMob for advertising and Apple services for App Store purchases, Health permissions, widgets, notifications, and device-level functionality.

8. Children’s Privacy

MendLife is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact support.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete habit data inside the app by deleting habits or removing the app from your device. You can revoke Apple Health permissions through iOS Settings or the Apple Health app.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
