Quick Troubleshooting Guide

1. The app says “Microphone or Camera Permission Required”If you cannot record audio or video:
1. Open System Settings on your Mac.
2. Navigate to Privacy & Security > Microphone (or Camera).
3. Ensure the toggle next to PodcastLife Studio is turned ON.
4. Restart the app.

2. Cannot save or export files
PodcastLife Studio operates under the macOS App Sandbox for your security.

When importing audio files or exporting your final .wav/.mp4 podcast, always use the standard macOS dialog windows (Open/Save Panels) to grant the app permission to access the chosen directory.

3. Speech-to-Text Transcription is not showing up
* Ensure that speech recognition is authorized under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Speech Recognition.
* The transcription engine uses Apple’s native APIs, which work best when your recording has clear audio and minimal background noise.
